MEMBER LEADER

• Participate in the planning and facilitation of strategy meetings .

• Represents HYV in police and school board negotiations, about the policy change (city level).

• Represents HYV in the negotiations with officials (campaign level) and give reports to the base afterward. 

• Facilitation of  HYV campaigns meeting.

ACTIVE MEMBER

• Makes calls to other members, base to invite them to a meeting or event.

• Gives a report to the base  about the progress of the HYV campaigns.

• Speaks with the press about HYV campaigns such as issues, demands, targets.

MEMBER

• Passes out flyers for HYV events and invite others to a meeting or event.

• Helps prepare the space for a meeting or event .

• Give reports to the rest of the membership about an incident of police harassment, abuse  or arrests at school.

• Participates as an observer in a meeting with police or officials (city or campaign level).

BASE (SUPPORTER)

Supports the organizer to volunteer and recruit other people to join HYV events.

• Participates in meetings & jumps into actions!

• Keeps close observation of what inequity or unfairness looks like at school.

Participates in 1 membership or annual party and other fun/celebratory events.

• Comes to events like marches, actions and press conferences.

• Participates in trainings.

• Participates in annual orientation.
